Prairie Goat Ultra

When: May 9-10, 2025:

Where: Acton Recreation Area, Broadview, MT

What: 3, 6 and 12-Hour BIKE (solo and team options)

           3, 6, 12 and 24-Hour Ultra RUN (solo and team options)

Description: Enjoy a Day on the Trails just outide of Billings Montana at the Acton Recreation Area.

Mountain Bikers will have an appx. 8 mile loop course with aid station at the start/finish of each course. See how many laps you can get within 3, 6 or 12 hours. Want to team up with friends? Select the longer race and switch off every lap!

Mountain Bikers Will have a Mass Start on Saturday at 7AM

Each Race will finish after their timed Cut Off (3-6-12 hour)

All Racers will be complete by 7PM and are welcome to stay for free Burgers. 

*All Racers will Self Time on allocated Race Spread Sheets.

Runners will have a 4 mile loop course with aid at each start/finish. The terrain is single track so estimate one loop/hour. Hiking poles are welcome and water is encouraged!

Running Timing will be Reversed for 2025

24 Hour Start 7PM Fri May 9

12 Hour Start 7AM Sat May 10

6 Hour Start 1PM Sat May 10

3 Hour Start 4PM Sat May 10

All runners will finish by 7PM Saturday May 10th for combined Awards announcements. 

24-Hour RUNNERS: Race Start is 7pm Friday May 9th

Get your first lap in before the sun sets to orient yourself on the course. We will have Aid stations running all night long, but be prepared with any personal needs. High Visibility Apparel and headlight and whistle will be required for all 24 hour runners. Areas close to the trail edge will have extra lights for your safety.

Camping is FREE but primitive with no electricity or water on site so come prepared!
